Hello and welcome to my website! I am an experienced licensed clinical psychologist who has worked successfully for over 20 years with children, adolescents and adults of diverse racial, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds, and sexual orientations. My areas of expertise are psychological assessments and the treatment of:
- Anxiety, including separation, panic, phobic, obsessive-compulsive, and posttraumatic stress disorders.
- Depression, including grief reactions, and acute and chronic depressive disorders.
- Child and adolescent behavior problems, such as inattentiveness, noncompliance, verbal and physical aggression, school refusal, bullying, and encopresis.
- Family difficulties, including sibling rivalry, martial conflict, and step-family issues.
- Adjustment difficulties, including those associated with chronic medical diseases, particularly cardiovascular problems; parental separation, divorce or death; relocation; and automobile accidents.
